Travel Support for Assistance-Dog Owners
Travelling with an assistance dog can involve additional requirements from airlines, rail operators, ferry companies and international authorities. Registered members can request a personalised supporting letter explaining their dog’s disability-related role and need to travel with them. Please provide the travel company, estimated departure date, departure location and destination. Letters support your request but do not guarantee approval, as each operator and destination may apply separate safety, documentation and entry requirements.

This service is for registered Assistance Dogs UK members. Complete every relevant field so we can prepare the letter for the correct travel company or organisation. We will verify your registration before producing the letter.
